Passion (Fallen # 3)

Title: Passion (Fallen # 3)
Author: Lauren Kate
Rating: 4/5
Summary: "Every single lifetime, I'll choose you. Just as you have chosen me. Forever."

Luce would die for Daniel. And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.

Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.
My Thoughts: I LOVE THE FALLEN SERIES! A lot. Alot alot.  The book follows Luce travelling through time, witnessing different versions of herself fall in love with Daniel again, again, and again.  The overall story fills in missing aspects of both book 1 and 2. The origin of the curse is explained so readers have an understanding of why it happened.
I enjoyed the books because Luce (and I) was able to finally see what happened in her past lives, and if her love for Daniel was because of the curse, or true love.  I assumed Luce would have the same personality, and looks in her past lives however, that was not the case.  The one point that bugged me the most was how  Daniel "forgot" all encounters with his past self. It was definitely a hybrid prequel, and the last chapter has be riled up for the next, and last book in the series, Rapture.
