Deviant

DeviantTitle: Deviant
Author: Adrian McKinty
Rating: 2/5
SummaryDanny Lopez is new in town. He made a mistake back home in Las Vegas, and now he has landed at an experimental school in Colorado for “tough cases.” At the Cobalt Charter School, everything is scripted—what the teachers say, what the students reply—and no other speaking is allowed. This super controlled environment gives kids a second chance to make something of themselves. But with few freedoms, the students become sitting ducks for a killer determined to “clean up” Colorado Springs.
My Thoughts: Love the cover. It's creepy and devilish. I thought this book would be just as dark.

I was wrong.

Serial Killer's fascinate me. Plain and simple. I've read thousands of books centered around the mind of men and women who are so deluded and mentally whacked they make this serial killer look like Big Bird. Killing cat's? Really? The first chapter made me laugh. I wasn't able to complete the book, I stopped after dragging myself through the first 200 pages. Overall, I would not recommend this book.
